Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jan Buczynski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Title Shot!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buczynski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shot tries to avoid it but Buczynski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shot to the ground. Shot escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Buczynski shoots in but no luck this time.
Shot moves in looking to clinch but Buczynski pushes him off.
Title Shot seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Shot fails in his attempt to clinch.
Shot tries to clinch up

and Buczynski counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Shot avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Shot looking for a sweep. Not yet Shot, not yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Buczynski postures up.
Shot looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Buczynski slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Buczynski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shot is trying to get back to half guard.
Buczynski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Shot keeps working.

The referee asks Buczynski politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Buczynski prefers to stall for the moment though.

Buczynski is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Shot is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Shot is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Buczynski is aware though and is defending well.
Buczynski might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Buczynski drops back looking for a leg! Shot is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Shot manages to kick Buczynski off! Buczynski jumps back into Shot's guard.
Shot can't keep his opponent in guard - Buczynski advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Buczynski seems to be working for a kimura but Shot defends the submission attempt.
Shot moves into full guard.

Buczynski drops back, looking for a kneebar! Shot looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Shot looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Shot!
Shot wants to control but Buczynski is keeping him busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Shot tried to score with a low kick but Buczynski checks it.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Buczynski working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shot doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shot manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Shot stopping the sweep attempt from Buczynski.
Shot tries to free his leg and advance position but Buczynski is retaining full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Buczynski is on top in guard.

Buczynski seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Shot for as long as he can get away with.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Oh but Buczynski is tightening it up a little... Shot has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Shot reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Shot taps out! Nice BJJ there by Buczynski!
