Gallagher has chosen Kakkahätä 77 - Tää on sun helvetti as his entrance music. Max Bear could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Killian Gallagher's chin.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Killian Gallagher!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gallagher looks to score with a jab to the body but Bear is just out of range.
Bear shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gallagher defends it nicely.

Bear has managed to clinch.
A right hook to the body lands for Gallagher.

Bear is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gallagher is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Bear to the mat. Bear regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Gallagher drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Gallagher jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Killian Gallagher hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Bear feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Gallagher lands a two punch combo.
Gallagher stuffs the takedown.
Bear looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Gallagher is fending him off so far but Bear persists. Nope, Gallagher circles away and we're back to standing.
Bear uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Gallagher.
Gallagher shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bear as he jumps to the side.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bear has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Bear seems to be looking for submissions.
Max Bear overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bear is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Gallagher!
Gallagher sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
Bear wants to stand up but Gallagher has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Bear is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Bear connects with a nice short shot to Gallagher's temple.

Gallagher regains half guard there - taking advantage of Bear's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Gallagher leaves Bear with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Bear bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Gallagher tries to buck Bear off but Bear is having none of it.
Killian Gallagher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
You can see the frustration on Gallagher's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Gallagher parries the strikes from Bear easily there. Bear is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Gallagher to escape.

And that's the end of the fight!
Max Bear showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bear, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
