Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Father Frottage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Calico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Calico's choice of entrance music: Heat--J.U.I.C.E.. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Calico fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Frottage to the ground. Calico is now in Frottage's guard.
Calico looking to sit in guard and control but Frottage gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Calico is pulling down on Frottage's head to control his posture.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Frottage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Frottage tries to free his leg and advance position but Calico is retaining full guard.

Frottage changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Calico tries to avoid it but Frottage manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Calico to the ground. Calico escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Frottage uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Calico.
Calico throws the left hand but Frottage avoids the punch easily.

The fighters circling - Frottage throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Calico might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Calico looks for a takedown but Frottage sprawls well.

That was a close round but I would say that Father Frottage will probably get the nod.

Frottage drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Calico right on the button. Calico goes down! Frottage follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Frottage gets the win via TKO!
