Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dan Jersey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Pierre Babin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Babin has chosen South Park - Let's Fighting Love as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jersey shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Babin dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jersey. That did some damage!
Jersey works Babin's body with a nice hook.
Babin finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Babin throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Babin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jersey manages to avoid it.

Babin throws a leg kick which misses Jersey's front leg but catches the back leg as Jersey tries to avoid it.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Jersey tries to score a power double leg takedown but Babin sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Jersey somewhat.
Babin tries to clinch up but Jersey circles away and keeps his distance.
Jersey throws a solid leg kick but Babin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Jersey.
Jersey chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Babin can pounce on him.
Jersey on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Jersey takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Jersey's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Babin connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jersey scrambles back to his feet.

Babin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jersey keeps working.

Jersey manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Babin lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Jersey is pressing down on Babin's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Jersey pushes a forearm under Babin's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Babin is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
