Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jet Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raimo Hermoraunio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li comes into the arena with Tourniquet by Evanescence blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Mauricio Rocha and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Li there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Hermoraunio has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Li.
Li throws a big shot that misses.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Li enables Hermoraunio to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Li manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Hermoraunio passes Li's left leg - he's now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hermoraunio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Li. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Hermoraunio looks up at the clock and then as Li takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Hermoraunio smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Hermoraunio has control of an arm but Li manages to advance to Hermoraunio's back!
Li doesn't have the hooks in and Hermoraunio manages to turn into his guard.

Hermoraunio seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
