Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kongo shoots for a double leg takedown but Harunodo sprawls well. He's pushed Kongo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Harunodo thows a left - swing and a miss!
Harunodo pushes Kongo away with a front kick.
Kongo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harunodo connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
A big right from Harunodo misses.
Kongo tries to work over Harunodo's front leg with a kick but Harunodo checks it.
Kongo walks into a left hand.
It looks like Surge Kongo has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Harunodo throws a hook to the side of Kongo's head but Kongo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Harunodo feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Kongos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
A jab from Harunodo does it's job there.
Harunodo fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kongo has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Harunodo tries to score with a low kick but Kongo moves his leg out of the way.

Harunodo has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Kongo finds it's way round the side to connect with Harunodo's head.

Harunodo slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Harunodo throws a low kick, looking for Kongo's leg but Kongo calmly moves out of range.
Kongo tries to clinch up but Harunodo circles away and keeps his distance.
An inside leg kick lands from Harunodo.

No luck for Kongo with that takedown attempt.
Harunodo avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A head kick misses from Harunodo.
Kongo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Harunodo is staying active underneath Kongo, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Kongo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Harunodo wants to get back to his feet.
Kongo is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Kongo!
