The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Law moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Law shoots in for a takedown but Silva shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
A chopping leg kick lands by Silva.
Law looks gassed!
Silva misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Law.
Silva throws a lazy head kick

and Law holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Silva wants to get back to striking at distance but Law won't allow it.

Silva breaks from the clinch.
Law walks into a left hand.

It looks like Derek Law has been cut.
Law should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Silva fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Law looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Silva throws a series of punches but Law moves out of range.
Silva swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Law takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Silva scores with a jab to the body.
Law gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Silva.
Silva connects with an inside leg kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Silva connects with a high kick.
Silva lands with an overhand left.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Silva lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Law out cold! Law is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
