Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between John Duddy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ting Yan Wang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duddy kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Dropkick Murphys - 'Loyal to No One'. Wang is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Minority - Green Day. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duddy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Ting Yan Wang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wang scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Wang takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wang uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Duddy has time to react.
Duddy tries to close the distance and clinch up but Wang swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Duddy steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Wang.

Duddy is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Wang.
Duddy throws a leg kick but Wang moved away.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wang enables Duddy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wang manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Wang escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Duddy gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Wang is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Duddy wants to control from the top but Wang keeps moving.
Wang manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Duddy manages to get himself to full guard.

Duddy can't keep his opponent in guard - Wang advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wang works his foot free and advances to mount.

Wang with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Wang is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
