Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Steve Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jay Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jay Jackson!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Austin throws a half hearted mid kick.
A punch combination from Jackson misses.
Jackson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Austin.
Austin misses with a takedown
and Jackson counters with a nice body kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Austin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Jackson throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Austin on the side of the head.
Austin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Austin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jackson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Austin.
Jackson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Austin.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Austin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Austin is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

and Jackson counters with a leg kick.
Jackson pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jackson throws a leg kick which misses Austin's front leg but catches the back leg as Austin tries to avoid it.
Jackson keeps Austin at a distance using the push kick.
Jay Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Austin. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Austin walks into a left hand.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jackson.
Nice body punch from Jackson.
Jackson throws a nice inside leg kick.
Jackson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Austin eats them both and turns towards Jackson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
A nice leg kick lands there from Jackson.

Jackson cracks Austin with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

A jab-cross combination lands for Jackson and sends Austin crashing to the mat! Jackson follows him down to the mat - Austin regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!


Austin is rocked!


It looks like Steve Austin has been cut.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Jackson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Oh Austin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jackson stuns Austin with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Austin seems to have got his legs back now.
A decent looking cross lands there for Jackson.
Jackson misses with a double jab.
Austin with a lazy takedown attempt
and Jackson counters with a nice body shot.
Austin walks into a left hand.
Jackson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Austin avoids them all with ease.
Austin walks into a stiff left hand from Jackson.
Steve Austin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Jackson lands with a hook. Austin tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Jackson misses with a series of wild punches.
Jackson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Jackson scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Jackson drops Austin with a right and a left! Jackson comes rushing in but Austin regains his composure and manages to keep Jackson in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
A combination from Jackson does no damage.
Jackson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Austin slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.
Jackson misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Austin walks into a left hand.
Jackson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jackson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Austin gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Jackson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Jackson pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Jackson lands with a right hand.
Jackson lands a leg kick that knocks Austin off balance momentarily.
Jackson works over Austin's head and body with a nice combination.
Jackson is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Austin had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Jackson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Austin.
Jackson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Austin.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jay Jackson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Steve Austin's cut.

Jackson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Jackson throws a leg kick but Austin checks it.
Austin shoots in for a takedown but Jackson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Austin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Austin showed some decent athleticism there.
Jackson wants to improve his position but Austin is controlling well.
Austin wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jackson is looking to escape.

Jackson kicks Austin off and gets back to his feet.
Austin tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.
Austin doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Jackson looks to land a combination. Austin sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Jackson.
Sloppy strikes from Jackson. Those never looked like landing.
Jackson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Good exchange - Jackson coming out on top.
Steve Austin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Jackson lands a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Good leg kick by Jackson there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jackson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Jackson scores with a nice right hand.
Austin takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Jackson stalks Austin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Austin's face. Austin staggers backwards, shaken.
Jackson scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jackson, right into the meat.
Austin moves out of range as Jackson throws a body kick.
Austin doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
Jackson is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Austin like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Austin from another fist facial!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jay Jackson!
An intense looking Jay Jackson took to the microphone post fight and gave a little speech: 'Houston, Texas, I love you! Shout out to the best manager in the world, Kenny Powers, Tyrion Lannister, you're F&^%$NG OUT!'.
