Silva is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: X is Coming. Eduardo Silva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Eduardo Silva!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva fails with the takedown
and Sajewski counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
A telegraphed right hand from Sajewski misses the target.
Silva shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Sajewski counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Sajewski lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Sajewski fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Silva on the side of the head.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sajewski tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sajewski to the ground. Sajewski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Silva is defended easily by Sajewski.
Silva is trying desperately to land a takedown but Sajewski is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Silva.
Sajewski throws a leg kick but Silva sees it coming and moves out of range.

Silva changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sajewski looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Silva tries to advance to mount but Sajewski denies him.
Sajewski is looking to regain half guard here but Silva keeps moving and retains side control.
Silva wants to control but Sajewski is keeping him busy.

Silva is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sajewski knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Silva thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Silva swings around for an armbar but Sajewski sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Silva's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Silva wants to work for an arm triangle but Sajewski is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Sajewski is looking for a sweep. Silva is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Silva gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Sajewski gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Silva is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lukasz Sajewski!
