Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Riki Rousey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Travolta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Riki Rousey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Travolta!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Gregory Folan and William Peck.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Travolta misses with a left hand
and Rousey counters with a left to the body.
Rousey doesn't manage to clinch there - Travolta circles away.
Rousey tries to clinch up but Travolta circles away and keeps his distance.

Rousey pushes Travolta up against the cage in a clinch.
Rousey tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Travolta avoids it.

Travolta has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rousey is trying to keep an underhook but Travolta manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Travolta is just content to waste time from the top position. Rousey takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Travolta is looking to work some ground and pound but Rousey has wrist control.

Rousey wants to sweep here but Travolta controlling him for the moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rousey pulls Travolta in close to prevent any damage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Travolta shoots in for a takedown but Rousey shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Travolta closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Rousey quickly recovers to half guard.
Travolta throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Travolta lands a nice short elbow.
Rousey is trying to maintain the position but Travolta is very close to passing his half guard.
Travolta wants to control but Rousey is keeping him busy.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rousey is positioning himself well to prevent Travolta advancing to mount.
Rousey keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Travolta dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Travolta changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rousey tries to avoid it but Travolta manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rousey to the ground. Rousey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Travolta throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rousey's waist but Rousey gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Travolta off to one side.
Rousey throws the left hand but Travolta avoids the punch easily.
Rousey leaves Travolta with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Riki Rousey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Travolta.
Rousey jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Travolta keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rousey.
Rousey throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Travolta on the side of the head.
Travolta fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Travolta throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rousey was covering up waiting for the punch and Travolta finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Travolta is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rousey is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rousey has escaped and now he's on top!
Travolta is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Travolta thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Travolta lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Rousey!

Travolta throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Rousey because Travolta loaded up on that one.

Travolta lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Rousey hang on?
Travolta cracks Rousey with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Travolta!
