Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy Donnely (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sami Hyypia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyypia comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hang out the stars in Indiana kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Sami Hyypia has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Billy Donnely!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Sami Hyypia!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Valeri Chadov and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donnely has his takedown stuffed
and Hyypia connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hyypia with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Donnely fails with the takedown
and Hyypia counters with a straight right hand.
Donnely with a poor takedown
letting Hyypia counter with a right hand.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Billy Donnely. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Donnely fails with the takedown
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Hyypia slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Donnely takes one on the button.
Donnely with a lazy takedown attempt
and Hyypia counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Donnely is breathing heavily.
Hyypia scores with a body shot.
Donnely has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hyypia finds it's way round the side to connect with Donnely's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A shot to the liver by Hyypia. Beautiful body shot.
A punch lands to the side of Donnely 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Hyypia connects with a nice cross there... Donnely is looking wobbly and Hyypia recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Donnely to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Hyypia jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Sami Hyypia!
