Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Scott Carson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quintus Daedalus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daedalus comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Spartacus Soundtrack kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Quintus Daedalus told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Daedalus misses its intended target.
Quintus Daedalus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Carson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Daedalus was well out of range. Poor timing from Carson.
Carson takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Daedalus scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Daedalus is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Carson attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

and Daedalus counters with a stiff right hand.
Carson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Daedalus sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Donk. Carson catches Daedalus right on the button with a cross.
Daedalus comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Daedalus throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Carson on the side of the head.
Carson tries to work over Daedalus's front leg with a kick but Daedalus checks it.
Carson misses the jab.
Daedalus moves out of range as Carson throws a body kick.
Carson shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Carson tries a head kick but it misses.

A clash of legs there as Daedalus blocks the low kick.
Daedalus throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Daedalus jabs at Carson's body.
Daedalus looks to throw the jab but Carson is out of range.
Carson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Daedalus throws a hook but Carson blocks it.
Daedalus lands a right hook to the body.
Carson throws a lazy right hand but Daedalus sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Daedalus.
Daedalus takes a swing at Carson's ribcage but misses.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Daedalus jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Daedalus checks a low kick from Carson.
A swing and a miss from Daedalus.
Carson on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Daedalus is looking to clinch but Carson is avoiding it.

Carson throws a head kick that half lands.
Daedalus scores with a jab to the head.

Daedalus gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Carson gets through Daedalus's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
A head punch on the inside from Daedalus fails to land.
A nice left hand lands by Daedalus.

Carson manages to break the clinch.
Carson cracks the inside of Daedalus's front leg.
Carson connects with a nice looking jab.
Daedalus scores with a hook.
Daedalus scores with a hook to the body. Carson takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Carson throws a body punch but Daedalus moves out of range.
Good shot there by Daedalus.

Carson is rocked!
Carson bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Daedalus comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Carson falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Carson was out before he hit the floor!
