Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Piotr Nawrocki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and General Zod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nawrocki's entrance music is Kanye West - Amazing. A fine choice. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Piotr Nawrocki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, General Zod!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zod throws a lazy right hand but Nawrocki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nawrocki steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Zod.

Nawrocki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Zod pushes Nawrocki away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nawrocki gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
You can see the frustration on Zod's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Nawrocki creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Zod sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Nawrocki wants to take a breather but Zod manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Nawrocki.

Nawrocki tries to close the distance and clinch but Zod swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zod jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.

General Zod seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Nawrocki fails in his attempt to clinch.
Nawrocki does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Zod throws the left hand but Nawrocki avoids the punch easily.

Nawrocki misses with a low kick as Zod jumps back.
Nice shot lands for Zod.
Piotr Nawrocki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nawrocki takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Zod thows a body shot but no joy.
Zod looks to land a combination but Nawrocki avoids it well.
Zod bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Nawrocki throws a head kick but Zod moves out of range.
Zod checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Zod lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Zod throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A nice combination there by Zod.
A chopping leg kick lands by Nawrocki.
Nawrocki misses with a head kick.
Zod misses with a body shot.
Nawrocki wants to clinch up but Zod keeps it at a distance.
Zod fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nawrocki on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Zod stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Nawrocki's jab looks to have found its range, popping Zod under the eye.
Zod takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Nawrocki misses with a low kick as Zod jumps back.
Zod stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Nawrocki.
Nawrocki lands a really nice looking cross but Zod seems unphased.
Nawrocki with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Zod to score with a decent uppercut.

Zod throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Zod smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Nawrocki is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zod's half guard.
Nawrocki is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Zod reverses the position - he's now on top in Nawrocki's guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

General Zod showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Zod leaves Nawrocki with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Zod drops Nawrocki with a beautiful combination! Nawrocki stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Zod is looking for the KO!

Zod throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Nawrocki stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Zod misses with a hook. Nawrocki ducked under it nicely.

Nawrocki takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Nawrocki displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Zod throws out the jab.
Zod throws the left hand but Nawrocki avoids the punch easily.
Zod throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nawrocki on the side of the head.
Oh Nawrocki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That kick from Nawrocki tenderised Zod's leg. Zod is trying to keep his angry face on.
Nawrocki seems to have got his legs back now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Zod uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Nawrocki has time to react.
Zod loads up on a big right hand but Nawrocki slips the punch.
and Zod counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Nawrocki! He's just covering up as Zod starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:54 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). General Zod!
