Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Artur Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milan Savic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ross comes to the cage accompanied by Pain - Shut your mouth. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Milan Savic!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross moves away from the strike by Savic.
Ross uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Savic.
Savic scores with a jab. Ross acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Milan Savic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savic avoids the head kick by Ross.
Ross connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Ross slaps away a takedown attempt from Savic, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Savic throws a lazy right hand but Ross sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Savic blocks a head kick by Ross.
Savic shoots in for a takedown but Ross shows good takedown defense.
Savic throws a looping overhand right but Ross ducks down to avoid it.
Ross lands a head kick. Savic smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

It looks like Milan Savic has been cut.
Ross bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Ross slips under a jab from Savic.
Savic moves out of range of the body kick from Ross.
Savic throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ross.
Savic shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Ross as he jumps to the side.
Artur Ross has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milan Savic.

Savic moves into the clinch.

Ross misses with the head strike.

Savic's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Ross is pushing Savic up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Ross lands with a light punch inside.

Savic doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Ross blocks an uppercut.
Ross effectively controlling the action here.
Savic misses with a punch on the inside.
Savic tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ross smiles and moves away.
Savic blocks a head kick by Ross.

Savic moves into the clinch.
Savic can't get the takedown.
Ross works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Ross lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Savic is looking to take this one to the mat.
Savic wants a takedown but no success here.
Savic blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Ross lands a hook that snaps the head of Savic backwards.
Ross lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
A bit of stalling here from Ross.
Savic lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Ross lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Ross lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ross is pressed up against the cage. Savic has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ross down to the mat. Ross avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ross cracks Savic with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Savic is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ross stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Ross creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Savic's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Savic drops to his knees and Ross pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

A relieved looking Artur Ross thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
