And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Santos tries to keep at a distance but Lei has taken the fight into the clinch.
Santos is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Lei is defending well for now.

Lei breaks from the clinch.
A thudding body kick lands there by Lei!
Santos fails to land the takedown.
Santos throws a looping overhand right but Lei ducks down to avoid it.
Lei slips a jab and a cross from Santos.
Lei tries to close the distance and clinch but Santos swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lei is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Lei fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Santos on the side of the head.
Lei connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Santos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lei circles away.
Lei throws a right hand that Santos ducks under and follows up with a left that Santos also avoids with ease.

Lei leaves Santos with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Oooooh!!! Lei has knocked Santos down with a huge combo! Lei steps away and waves a wobbly Santos back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Aj Santos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lei lands a big head kick that sends Santos tumbling to the mat! Lei takes a step backwards and waves Santos back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Santos is still on wobbly legs! Can Lei finish him?
Lei looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Lei backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Santos's temple! It sends Santos violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Lei celebrates and the doctors try to help Santos!
