Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Kazansky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johan Nickson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kazansky's entrance music is Danger Zone. A fine choice. Tom Kazansky looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nickson has Kazansky up against the cage in a clinch.
Nickson will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Kazansky up against the cage.
Kazansky is trying to pull guard but Nickson has him pressed against the cage.
Kazansky takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Tom Kazansky has been cut.
Nickson tries to land a knee to the head but Kazansky blocks with his arms.

Nickson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kazansky is trying to defend but Nickson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Kazansky moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Kazansky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nickson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nickson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nickson wants to stand but Kazansky has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Nickson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kazansky has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Nickson doesn't defend quickly enough and Kazansky has managed to lock this one up! Can Nickson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kazansky on a fantastic submission victory.
