PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Uile De Jesus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sanay Ulrik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). De Jesus has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Sanay Ulrik looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sanay Ulrik!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Jesus rushes Ulrik and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Ulrik jumps into guard, dragging De Jesus to the mat.
De Jesus in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Ulrik uses the cage to get back to his feet.
De Jesus could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

De Jesus moves into the clinch.
De Jesus is breathing heavily.
Ulrik is defending well against a takedown attempt.

De Jesus is fighting off a takedown attempt but Ulrik is just too persistent for him and manages to trip De Jesus to the mat. De Jesus regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
De Jesus throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
De Jesus can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ulrik controls the pace.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Ulrik stands and steps away. De Jesus gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Ulrik counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Uile De Jesus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
De Jesus avoids the head kick by Ulrik.

De Jesus closes the distance looking to clinch

and Ulrik counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
De Jesus misses with a punch to the body.

Ulrik tries to pull guard but De Jesus won't allow it.

With the fighters up against the cage, Ulrik throws an elbow but misses.

Ulrik's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
De Jesus fails with an attempt to clinch.

Ulrik shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches De Jesus napping and manages to drive through into side control!
De Jesus takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

De Jesus misses with an elbow from the bottom.
Ulrik passes to full mount! That's big trouble for De Jesus!

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
De Jesus throws a strike but has given up his back in the process.
Ulrik punishes De Jesus with strikes from the back mount.
Ulrik keeps control of the position as De Jesus tries to break free.
Ulrik has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
De Jesus looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
De Jesus tries to roll but Ulrik sticks to his back.

Ulrik is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

Ulrik has his arm under De Jesus's chin here. Game over son! Ulrik squeezes tightly and De Jesus is forced to tap out!
