Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonny Utah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raive Malapitan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Utah lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Utah leaves Malapitan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Malapitan is trying desperately to land a takedown but Utah is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Malapitan.

Malapitan tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Utah counters with a left and a right that stings Malapitan.
Malapitan shoots in and drives through. Utah sprawls well.
Malapitan closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Utah gets caught flat footed, as Malapitan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Utah wriggles free and stands up.

Malapitan ducks right into an uppercut from Utah.
Utah cracks Malapitan with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Malapitan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Utah's waist but Utah gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Malapitan off to one side.
Malapitan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Utah counters with a nice uppercut.

Utah fails to land with a series of punches.
Jonny Utah is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Utah cracks a nice hook into Malapitan's ribs.
Utah lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Utah, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
