Clark comes into a darkened arena with his song building. All Fired Up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Oscar Svidler could well score a knockout today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Svidler. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Svidler.
Clark on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Clark slips a jab from Svidler.
Svidler waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Clark.
Nice defenses there by Clark.
Svidler throws a hook but Clark avoids it easily.
Svidler fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Clark manages to avoid it.
Clark moves out of range as Svidler strikes.
Svidler cracks Clark with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Clark avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Clark tries a low kick but Svidler avoids it.
Svidler swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Svidler misses with a few strikes there.

Clark drives through and clinches with Svidler against the cage.

Clark gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Clark prevents Svidler from breaking the clinch.
Clark lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Clark blocks an uppercut.
Clark is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Clark misses with a hook to the ribs.
Knees in the clinch landing for Clark.
Clark is working Svidler over against the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Clark.
Clark is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
A nice left hand lands by Clark.
Clark lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Svidler backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Clark lands a shoulder strike.
Svidler is trying to push Clark away but Clark has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Nice elbow from Clark.

Svidler is rocked!
Svidler wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Clark has Svidler pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Svidler is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Clark - that's hurt Svidler badly! Oh, another knee lands and Svidler is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Svidler doesn't seem to be complaining.
