Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Demetrius Colrane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Tim Smith!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves into range and clinches up with Colrane.
Smith throws a knee to the head but misses.
Colrane taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Smith misses with some punches.
Colrane changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Smith fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Colrane uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Smith.
Tim Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Colrane gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Colrane wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Colrane is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Smith gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Colrane takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Smith throws a front kick aimed at Colrane's knee but Colrane avoids it well.
Smith throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Smith will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Smith motions for Colrane to come forward. Smith throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
The fighters circling - Colrane throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Smith pushes off an throws an elbow but Colrane leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Smith is trying to maintain a safe position but Colrane gets an underhook and turns Smith into the cage.
Smith misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Colrane.
Colrane jumps into guard, dragging Smith to the mat.
Colrane manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Smith is in a horrible position here. Colrane smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A big strike lands for Colrane! That's really hurt Smith and he's turned his back - Colrane keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Colrane jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
