Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Melvin Manhoef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randon Rett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rett has chosen Gimme Shelter--Rolling Stones as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Randon Rett was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Rett turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Manhoef is working to avoid the ground and pound but Rett connects with a decent elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rett tries for a takedown but Manhoef sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
A looping hook to the body misses from Rett. Manhoef does a little dance to reset his feet.

Manhoef cracks Rett with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Manhoef fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rett has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Nice straight punches there by Manhoef. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Manhoef.

Rett takes a swing at Manhoef's ribcage but misses.
Good leg kick by Manhoef there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That kick from Manhoef tenderised Rett's leg. Rett is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rett is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Manhoef Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Rett is out cold, face down on the mat!
