The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haggen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Munchkin as he avoids it easily.
Haggen stalks Munchkin and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Munchkin's face. Munchkin staggers backwards, shaken.
A big right from Haggen misses.
Haggen misses with an uppercut. Munchkin saw that one coming.
Munchkin slips a jab and a cross from Haggen.
Munchkin pushes Haggen away with a front kick.
Lou Haggen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Munchkin shoots in and gets a takedown into Haggen's guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Munchkin seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Munchkin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Haggen is rocked!
Munchkin scores with a big shot! Haggen's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Haggen! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
