Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Yuri Nate!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nena Apina!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nate misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nate connects with a body shot that sends Apina's belly button to the back.
Apina avoids the body shot from Nate.
Nate just misses with a punch to the body.

Apina shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Apina showed some decent athleticism there.
Nate is looking for a sweep. Apina is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Apina seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Nate does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Nate won't allow Apina to pass to mount.
Apina controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Nena Apina.
Apina swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Apina staying out of range there.
Apina shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Apina shoots in and gets a takedown into Nate's guard.
Apina postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Apina trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Nate manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Nate with a flurry of punches that miss.
Apina is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nate wants to control from the top but Apina keeps moving.
Apina tries to land a sweep but no joy.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nate is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nate trying to control the position from guard on top but Apina is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Yuri Nate.
Nate looks to throw the jab but Apina is out of range.

Apina shoots in and bounces Nate off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nate bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Apina's guard.

Nate is sitting in close to Apina's body. Apina has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Nate is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Nate is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Apina.
