Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between The Hulk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichi Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hulk comes into the arena with Hulkamania! blaring out of the sound system. The Hulk has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, The Hulk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ichi Takeshi!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Sano and Shigeki Fujiwara.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takeshi throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hulk.
Hulk throws a hook but Takeshi avoids it easily.

Takeshi gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Takeshi misses with a hook to the ribs.
Takeshi swings wildly with an uppercut but Hulk uses good head movement to avoid it.
Takeshi cracks Hulk with a nice body shot.
Takeshi is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Hulk stalling in the clinch but Takeshi improves position.
Hulk manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Hulk misses with a body punch.
Takeshi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Hulk is defending well for now.
Takeshi will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Hulk up against the cage.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Takeshi is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Takeshi lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Hulk hang on?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Takeshi wants to finish this one by submission but Hulk is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Takeshi.

Hulk gets back to full guard.

Takeshi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hulk has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Takeshi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hulk has momentary wrist control but Takeshi slips an elbow through the middle.

Takeshi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Takeshi is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hulk doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Takeshi.
Hulk is looking for a sweep. Takeshi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Takeshi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hulk is just riding it out for now. Takeshi eventually gives up the hold.
Hulk wants to get back to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ichi Takeshi dominated that round.
That's time! Hulk's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Takeshi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Hulk misses the jab.

Takeshi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hulk tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Takeshi is in Hulk's guard.

Takeshi is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hulk knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Hulk is not content to let Takeshi control the position.

Takeshi lands an elbow.
Takeshi scores with a couple of short elbows.
Takeshi wants to control but Hulk is keeping him busy.
Takeshi is working Hulk over with some ground and pound from side control.
Takeshi looks up at the clock and then as Hulk takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Takeshi smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Oh Hulk is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hulk is looking to regain half guard here but Takeshi keeps moving and retains side control.
A big shot lands for Takeshi! That's hurt Hulk! Will he recover? Takeshi fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!
