Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Puempel throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Anderson makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Anderson throws a lazy body kick
and Puempel counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Puempel lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
It looks like Mark Anderson has been cut.
Anderson fails to pull guard.
Anderson avoids the elbow strike from Puempel, against the cage.
Anderson on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Anderson wants to take the fight to the mat but Puempel manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Puempel lands an elbow inside.
Anderson jumps guard but Puempel stands there with Anderson around his waist. Anderson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Matt Puempel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Anderson.
Anderson takes an elbow to the temple.
That has opened up Mark Anderson's cut even more.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Anderson fails to pull guard.
Puempel turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Puempel manages to end up in side control.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Anderson is looking to regain half guard here but Puempel keeps moving and retains side control.

Mark Anderson's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mark Anderson's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
