The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz throws a big shot that misses.
Ortiz misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kochanowski.

Kochanowski throws a head kick but Ortiz moves out of range.
Kochanowski misses with a two punch combination.
Donk. Kochanowski catches Ortiz right on the button with a cross.
Kochanowski throws a front kick aimed at Ortiz's knee but Ortiz avoids it well.
Kochanowski on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Kochanowski throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ortiz.
Kochanowski throws an overhand right that lands on Ortiz's shoulder, as Ortiz tries to avoid the shot.

Ortiz drives through and clinches with Kochanowski against the cage.
Ortiz lands a left hand.
Kochanowski wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Ortiz has him pressed against the cage.
Ortiz lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Ortiz lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Kochanowski backwards.

Ortiz breaks from the clinch.
Ortiz throws a lazy right hand but Kochanowski sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ortiz is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Kochanowski blocks a jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ortiz slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Kochanowski bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kochanowski misses with a hook. Ortiz ducked under it nicely.

Kochanowski has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kochanowski there as he acknowledges the shot.

Kochanowski lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ortiz at a distance.

Ortiz closes the distance and pushes Kochanowski back into the cage.

Kochanowski escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ortiz cracks Kochanowski with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
