The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murphy slips a jab from Miles.
Murphy plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Desmond Miles has been cut.
Miles loads up on a big right hand but Murphy slips the punch.
Miles getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Miles tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Murphy paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Miles swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Murphy counters with a low kick, right behind Miles 's knee.
Miles fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A nice combination there by Miles.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Murphy lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Miles takes a kick to the side of the head.
Miles connects with the punch.

Desmond Miles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murphy explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Miles throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Murphy sees it coming and avoids it easily.

and Murphy counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Miles is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Murphy lets loose with a powerful body kick. Miles will feel that in the morning.

Murphy has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
