PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Taz Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ren Rothschild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Devil kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Motorhead-Enter Sandman. Rothschild has chosen Enter Shikari as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Taz Devil has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Devil misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rothschild misses the shot to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Devil.
Rothschild shoots in looking for a takedown. Devil tries to sprawl out of it but Rothschild keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Devil manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Devil takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Devil will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Devil fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rothschild has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rothschild is defended easily by Devil.
Devil cracks Rothschild with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Rothschild tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Devil pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Rothschild is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
