Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Maarten De Kaizer!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. De Kaizer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

De Kaizer gets caught napping as Edwards dives in and scores a takedown. De Kaizer manages to retain guard.
De Kaizer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Edwards wants to get up but he can't break De Kaizer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Edwards is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and De Kaizer defends well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
De Kaizer seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Edwards on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Edwards tries to get out of the position.

De Kaizer has one of Edwards's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.

Edwards decides to stand back up. Edwards steps back and let's De Kaizer get back to his feet.

Edwards takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Edwards shoots for a double leg takedown but De Kaizer sprawls well. He's pushed Edwards's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
