Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mamed Khalidovv (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haka Maka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Khalidovv comes to the cage accompanied by Shamhan Daldaev - Eto Kavkaz . Maka has chosen Island Music as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalidovv changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Maka looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Maka is trying to buck Khalidovv off.
Maka wants to control but Khalidovv postures up.
Maka manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Khalidovv throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Khalidovv wants to work for an arm triangle but Maka is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Maka has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Khalidovv is working away from the top position though.

Maka got a little sloppy there for a moment and Khalidovv has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Maka has managed to get both his arms back between Khalidovv's legs - danger averted.

Khalidovv feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Maka is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Khalidovv gets his way!

Maka manages to reverse the position and now he's in Khalidovv's guard. Nice work there by Maka.

Maka drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Khalidovv manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Maka has Khalidovv in his guard.
Khalidovv is posturing up here but Maka has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Khalidovv tries to roll out but it's too tight and Khalidovv has to tap! Slick submission there by Maka!

Haka Maka really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Das Labor logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
