Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Atapang Atao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Awesome Dave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Axis of Awesome kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Awesome Dave will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atao clobbers Dave with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A jab from Dave finds it's way through Atao's defenses.
Dave punishes Atao's body with a nice straight punch.
Atao throws a nice outside leg kick.
Dave throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Atao ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dave moves away.
Atao throws a nice looking combination but Dave bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Atao throws a right hand that Dave ducks under and follows up with a left that Dave also avoids with ease.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Dave feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ataos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Dave swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Atao.

Atao throws a head kick that misses.
Dave scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Dave drops Atao with a beautiful combination! Atao stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dave is looking for the KO!

It looks like Atapang Atao has been cut.
Dave avoids the body shot from Atao.

Oh Atao is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Atao takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Atao loads up on a big right hand but Dave slips the punch.
Dave has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Atao just misses with a punch to the body.
Atao throws a sloppy head kick and Dave moves out of range easily.
Atao throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Atao is breathing heavily.
Atao takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Atao looks to land a combination but Dave avoids it well.

Atao throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Dave throws a right and a left that both miss.

Atao gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Dave gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
