Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Super Hans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chev Chelios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hans's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hans being Hans. Chelios is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by In Waves. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Sydney, Chev Chelios!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hans scores with a head kick.
Chelios takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Chelios scores with a hook to the body. Hans takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Chelios looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Chelios tries to clinch but Hans is having none of it.
Chelios lands a nice shot to the body.
Chelios drives through and clinches with Hans against the ropes.
Chelios misses with a punch on the inside.
Chelios is pressed up against the ropes. Hans has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Chelios down to the mat. Chelios avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Hans shoots for a takedown but Chelios saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chelios connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hans pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Chelios slaps away a takedown attempt from Hans, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Super Hans. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Hans tries a low kick but Chelios avoids it.
Chelios cracks Hans with an open hand slap.
Chev Chelios is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hans closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Chelios did well to prevent Hans getting side control.
Hans is keen to just control but Chelios is a slippery customer.
Hans wants to pass the guard but Chelios is defending well.
Hans is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chelios defends it well.

Hans is trying to control. Chelios wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Hans is really struggling to control Chelios but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Chelios is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Hans is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Chelios can do anything to dispel that myth.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hans perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
Chelios is looking for a sweep. Hans is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hans passes the guard and advances to mount!
Chelios is controlling an arm, preventing Hans from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Hans working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Chelios is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Hans trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chelios tries to reverse the position but Hans maintains control.
Hans working for a guillotine from mount but Chelios is in no mood to give up.
Chelios is squirming around, avoiding Hans's attempts to control the action.
Hans is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Chelios is surviving well by controlling Hans's body position as best he can.
Hans is looking to work his way around to Chelios's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
That's five minutes gone in the round.
Hans looking to isolate an arm here. Chelios doesn't see it coming and as Hans extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Hans!
