Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Phantom Menace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Braylon Beswicke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Menace comes to the cage accompanied by Leroy Brown. Beswicke has chosen Kick in the teeth as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Beswicke leaves Menace with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Beswicke stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Beswicke throws a lazy right hand but Menace sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Menace throws a jab but it's blocked by Beswicke.
Menace thows a body shot but no joy.

and Beswicke makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Phantom Menace.
