Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nick Fury!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 23 - 10 - 2, fighting out of Tokyo, John McClane!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That kick from Fury tenderised McClane's leg. McClane is trying to keep his angry face on.
McClane just misses with a punch to the body.
Fury blocks a head kick by McClane.
McClane sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Fury walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
McClane on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Fury slips a straight right by McClane.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Fury - that will leave a mark!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fury throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
McClane thows a leg kick but Fury checks it
and Fury counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Fury fakes high and swings low for a body shot but McClane manages to avoid it.
McClane avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
A slapping leg kick lands for McClane.
Fury scores with a leg kick.
McClane looks to score with a jab to the body but Fury is just out of range.
Fury lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A slapping body kick lands there for Fury.

Fury cracks McClane with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! McClane looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Fury finish him?


McClane is rocked!


It looks like John McClane has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
McClane throws a sloppy body shot
and Fury makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
McClane is still on wobbly legs! Can Fury finish him?
McClane looks gassed!
Fury lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in McClane - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Fury!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Nick Fury!
Nick Fury retains his middleweight title!
After winning the bout, Nick Fury thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
