Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alan Grant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Micky Mcgarry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grant is looking to clinch but Mcgarry is avoiding it.

Mcgarry dives in and scores a takedown into Grant's guard.

Mcgarry is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Grant is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Mcgarry is trying to pull guard but Grant turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Grant is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Mcgarry gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Grant has hold of one of Mcgarry's legs. Mcgarry is fighting the takedown attempt but Grant gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Mcgarry working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grant doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Mcgarry is tightening it up a little... Grant has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Grant reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Grant taps out! Nice BJJ there by Mcgarry!

A less than humble Micky Mcgarry misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
