Crumpet has chosen That ain't classy - Classified as his entrance music. Tom Crumpet is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Panek shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Panek showed some decent athleticism there.
Crumpet is staying active underneath Panek, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Crumpet is looking for a sweep. Panek is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crumpet wants to control but Panek is keeping busy.
Panek controlling the pace.
Panek tries to pass the half guard into mount. Crumpet knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Crumpet wants to get back to his feet.
Panek is trying to control the action in half guard but Crumpet is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Waclaw Panek has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

and Panek counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Panek.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Crumpet cracks Panek with an open hand slap.
Crumpet tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Panek manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Panek throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Crumpet tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Panek is in Crumpet's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Crumpet tries to close the distance and clinch up but Panek swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Crumpet leaves Panek with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Crumpet thuds his right hand into Panek's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Crumpet lands with a hook. Panek tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Panek bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Panek takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Crumpet throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Crumpet might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Crumpet just misses with a punch to the body.
Crumpet uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Panek.
Panek misses the shot to the body.

Panek lands a head shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Panek shoots in looking for a takedown but Crumpet manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Panek's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Panek is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Crumpet, as that shot connected.
Crumpet throws a jab but it's blocked by Panek.
Crumpet throws a body punch but Panek moves out of range.
Crumpet fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Crumpet gets caught napping as Panek dives in and scores a takedown. Crumpet manages to retain guard.
Crumpet is controlling Panek's posture.
Panek stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Crumpet swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Tom Crumpet wasn't active enough on the ground.
Panek takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Panek lands a body shot.
Panek swings for the body but Crumpet moves out of range.
Panek slips under a jab.
Panek misses with a body shot.
Crumpet tries to clinch but Panek is having none of it.
Crumpet drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Crumpet closes the distance and pushes Panek back into the cage.
Crumpet digs a right hand underneath Panek's ribcage. Panek let out a lung full of air as it connected.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Crumpet.

Crumpet breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Crumpet throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Panek comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Panek.
Crumpet can't do much from the bottom here.
Crumpet manages to work his way to half guard, despite Panek's best efforts.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crumpet wants to get back to full guard.
Panek will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Panek is taking a breather. Crumpet says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Panek is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Crumpet defends it well.
Crumpet is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Panek's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Panek's back!
Panek is trying to break free.
Crumpet is trying to stick to Panek's back but Panek is turning into Crumpet. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Crumpet's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Panek.

Waclaw Panek overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Panek is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Crumpet to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.
Crumpet is controlling Panek's posture.
Let's hope that Crumpet has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
