The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lincon throws a shot from downtown. Deacon moves away and avoids it.
Deacon looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Deacon feints a jab promting Lincon to slip. Deacon then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Lincon slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Lincon looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Deacon!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

It looks like Joey Deacon has been cut.
Lincon lands a heavy elbow.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Deacon is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

The cut above Joey Deacon's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Lincon has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Deacon's face.

Joey Deacon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Joey Deacon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A relieved looking Abe Lincon thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
