The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blocko rushes Lawson and presses him up against the cage.
Blocko breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Blocko throws a hook but Lawson avoids it easily.
Blocko listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Lawson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
It looks like Knocko Blocko has been cut.
Lawson takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lawson throws an overhand right that lands on Blocko's shoulder, as Blocko tries to avoid the shot.
Lawson misses with a body shot.
Lawson throws a looping overhand right but Blocko ducks down to avoid it.
Blocko avoids the body shot from Lawson.

and Blocko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Lawson throws a poor cross that misses
and Blocko connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lawson looks to throw the jab but Blocko is out of range.
Lawson avoids the body shot from Blocko.
Blocko punishes Lawson's body with a nice straight punch.
Lawson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Blocko lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lawson throws the left hand but Blocko avoids the punch easily.
Blocko slips a straight right by Lawson.
Blocko drives through and clinches with Lawson against the cage.
Blocko lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Blocko manages to break the clinch.
Blocko is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Blocko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lawson throws out the jab.

Lawson throws a shot from downtown. Blocko moves away and avoids it.
Blocko keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Lawson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Blocko.
Lawson misses with a hook to the body
and Blocko counters with a low kick, right behind Lawson 's knee.
Lawson looks to throw the jab but Blocko is out of range.
Lawson uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Blocko.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lawson is working Blocko over against the cage.
Lawson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Knocko Blocko's cut is getting worse.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lawson tries to break the clinch but Blocko is controlling the position.
Blocko pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Blocko ducks under a wild hook from Lawson.
Lawson sends Blocko crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Lawson is motioning to the referee to let Blocko up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Oh Blocko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lawson throws the left hand but Blocko avoids the punch easily.
Blocko waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lawson.
Blocko blocks a jab.
Lawson lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Blocko head around and knocks him out cold! Lawson hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
