Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Lynch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Abaka Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lynch comes to the cage accompanied by System of a down- Chop Suey. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jeremy Lynch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Abaka Khan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khan shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Lynch had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Khan defends it easily.
Khan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lynch swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Khan wants to get up but he can't break Lynch's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Khan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lynch is proving hard to escape from.
Khan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jeremy Lynch will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Lynch lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Khan backwards.

Khan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lynch is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Lynch tries to free his leg and advance position but Khan is retaining full guard.

Lynch is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Khan is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Khan has escaped and now he's on top!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khan connects with a nice short shot to Lynch's temple.

and Khan counters with a head kick. That will keep Lynch thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Lynch uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Abaka Khan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Lynch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!


Khan gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Khan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lynch manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lynch lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Khan - that will leave a mark!
Lynch shoots for a double leg takedown but Khan sprawls well. He's pushed Lynch's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well Khan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
