Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Stone!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Rogers!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone lands with a good body shot.
Stone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stone wants it to stay on the feet.

Stone tries to land a front kick but Rogers steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Rogers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rogers has managed to get both his arms back between Stone's legs - danger averted.

Rogers shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Rogers was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rogers crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stone - the referee stops the clock and Rogers gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stone. Rogers manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
