Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Douglas Dejesus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tim Riggins!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dejesus takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Riggins missing with a left hand there. Dejesus was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Dejesus counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Riggins's guard now.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
