Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muskeli Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaakko Jussila (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mies kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The way of the fist. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mies throws a shot from downtown. Jussila moves away and avoids it.
Mies lands a slapping body shot.
Jussila steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mies.
Mies misses with a body punch
and Jussila counters with a one-two to the body.
Jussila misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mies swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A slapping body kick lands there for Jussila.
Mies throws a big shot that misses.
Jussila throws a sloppy head kick and Mies moves out of range easily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Jussila throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mies sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Jussila does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Jussila fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Mies manages to avoid it.
Mies sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Mies throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mies throws a hook but Jussila avoids it easily.

Jussila connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mies. Mies circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jussila connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mies momentarily.

It looks like Muskeli Mies has been cut.
Jussila throws a nice outside leg kick.
Jussila slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mies steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jussila. That one must have hurt.
Jussila wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Mies has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jussila finds it's way round the side to connect with Mies's head.
Mies bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jussila scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mies throws a lazy right hand but Jussila sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Jussila uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mies.
Mies checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Jussila throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Mies's head.

Mies is rocked!
Jussila throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Mies crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
