Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pluto Palhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palhares has chosen TOQUINHO as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Palhares.
Jensen misses with an uppercut
and Palhares cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pluto Palhares seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palhares lands a nice hook to Jensen's body. Jensen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nice defenses there by Palhares.

Palhares scores with a head kick. Jensen tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Palhares scores with a jab. Jensen acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Palhares jabs Jensen right on the nose. Jensen blinks but takes it well.

Palhares gets in close and tags Jensen with a short punch that almost sends Jensen to the mat! Oh Jensen is in big trouble! He turns his back on Palhares, trying to create some distance but Palhares rushes him, striking wildly and Jensen goes down! The referee tackles Palhares into the cage to end the fight! Palhares is one violent man!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pluto Palhares! Pluto Palhares retains his middleweight title!
