Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mya Nich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mya Nich had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Seu Braga and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Nich napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Wilson wants to control but Nich is keeping him busy.
Wilson lands a nice forearm strike.

Wilson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Nich knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Nich is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Wilson asserts his dominance and retains side control.

and Wilson counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Nich! He's just covering up as Wilson starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Lee Wilson is the new lightweight champion!
In his post fight interview, Lee Wilson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
