Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jose Alcano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Angel Concepcion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alcano comes to the cage accompanied by Three Stars & A Sun. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concepcion fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Concepcion moves out of range of the strikes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Concepcion shoots in looking for a takedown. Alcano tries to sprawl out of it but Concepcion keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Alcano manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Concepcion changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alcano tries to avoid it but Concepcion manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alcano to the ground. Alcano escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Concepcion chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Alcano can pounce on him.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Concepcion darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Concepcion is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Concepcion has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Concepcion swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Alcano is now in Concepcion's guard. A big mistake from Concepcion there, giving up the dominant position!

Concepcion escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Alcano gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
