Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonathan Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Avan Strash!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strash throws out a loose jab but Hall uses good head movement to avoid it.
Hall with a nice cross.
Hall thuds a left hand into Strash's body.
Hall slips a straight right by Strash.
Hall is looking to land body kicks.
Strash misses with a double jab
and Strash takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Hall connects with a solid leg kick.
Hall changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Strash throws a jab but it's blocked by Hall.

Hall shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hall showed some decent athleticism there.
Still in half guard, Hall seems content to control.

Strash is trying to stand up here but Hall is controlling him well.
Hall seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Jonathan Hall has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Hall throws a nice outside leg kick.

Strash takes a swing at Hall's ribcage but misses.
Avan Strash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Strash looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hall moves into the clinch successfully.
Strash is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Hall makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Strash has had enough of the clinch but Hall keeps him there for the moment.
Hall lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Hall cracks Strash with a nice body shot.
Strash is trying to break the clinch but Hall is controlling him.
Hall blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Hall wants the takedown. Strash is fighting it off but Hall persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Strash's guard against the cage.
Hall missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Strash really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hall. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Strash keeping moving, preventing Hall from controlling successfully.

Strash can't keep his opponent in guard - Hall advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hall is controlling the pace.
Hall is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Strash avoids a series of strikes thrown by Hall.
Hall won't let Strash get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Hall is landing with some decent strikes but Strash is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Hall lands with an uppercut that bounces Strash off the cage and back into range.
Hall takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hall lands with a cross.
Hall scores with the left hand. Strash knows he should have avoided that one.
That kick from Hall tenderised Strash's leg. Strash is trying to keep his angry face on.
Strash is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hall fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Strash misses the target.
Strash misses with a jab to the body
and Hall counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Hall looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Hall is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Hall sitting in guard here, content to control.

Hall working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hall throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Strash stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
That kick from Hall tenderised Strash's leg. Strash is trying to keep his angry face on.

Hall cracks Strash with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Hall has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Strash to stand back up!


Strash is rocked!
Strash tries to get into range but Hall steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Strash! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Hall scores the big KO victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jonathan Hall!
