Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Choke Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thomas Fu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddell comes to the cage accompanied by Intro - DMX. Fu has chosen SDJ-COMMANDOS as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fu connects with a jab.
Fu throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Fu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Fu feints and then cracks Liddell's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Liddell down.

Fu swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Fu is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Liddell.

Liddell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fu keeps working.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Fu can do anything to dispel that myth.

Liddell misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Liddell staying calm.
Liddell is looking to take a break and control but Fu is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Liddell tries to advance position but instead Fu slips a leg back in to half guard.

Good leg kick by Fu there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Oh Liddell is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Fu darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Liddell's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Fu before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
