Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Juri Han!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Shigeo Miyato!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Han misses the target.
Miyato on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Miyato tried to score with a low kick but Han checks it.
An inside leg kick lands from Han.
Miyato tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Han swivels and escapes.
Han throws a head kick that misses.
Miyato throws a leg kick that is checked
and Han counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.


It looks like Shigeo Miyato has been cut.
Miyato blocks a head kick by Han.
Miyato displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Han throws out the jab.
Han paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Some bone on bone action there as Han checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Juri Han seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Han breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Miyato throws a chopping leg kick but Han manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Han lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Han connects with a body shot that sends Miyato's belly button to the back.
Miyato uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Han.
Han misses with a head kick.
Miyato is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Han.
Miyato shoots in looking for a takedown but Han manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Miyato's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Miyato tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Han is able to avoid easily.

Han tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Han misses with a body shot.
Miyato does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Han looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Han throws a head kick that misses

so Miyato counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Han can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Miyato controls the pace.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Shigeo Miyato wasn't active enough on the ground.
Miyato moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Han.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Miyato fails to advance to Han's back.

Han tries to escape the position.
Han is working hard here to advance position.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Miyato controls the action.
Miyato tries to get the hooks in deep but Han pushed the leg off.
Han really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Miyato's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.
I would not like to be Han right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Miyato takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Miyato is rocked!
Miyato is holding his hands too far apart here. Han throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Miyato is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!
