Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nicky Mazzio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Volg Zangief (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mazzio might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Thunderstruck AC / DC. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Volg Zangief!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mazzio fails with the takedown.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Zangief tries to clinch up but Mazzio circles away and keeps his distance.
Mazzio drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Mazzio controls the position.
Mazzio prevents Zangief from escaping the position.
Zangief really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mazzio. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Mazzio is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Zangief's shoulder. That is not cool.
Mazzio is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Zangief looks calm but he's in trouble here. Mazzio gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Zangief is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Mazzio lets go of the hold and Zangief can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nicky Mazzio!
A relieved looking Nicky Mazzio thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
